Please enjoy track 4 of 14 out of a collection of Ostracon mixes from three consecutive live shows last year. Each track is an untitled improvisation roughly mixed and edited for length. Ostracon is Graham O’Brien on drums and John Keston on electronics. If you’d like to hear more from this collection please comment, share, or like. Thanks!

Fourteen Live Mixes from Ostracon: Track 2
As promised here’s the second of fourteen live tracks. I would love to hear from you if you’d like to hear more. Thanks!
Fourteen Live Mixes from Ostracon: Track 1
I have been back in the studio recently with Graham O’Brien to record our second Ostracon record. We are still using the GMS, but doing things a little differently this time around. More about that later. But, since I have Ostracon on the brain I thought it might be nice to release a collection of fourteen live tracks from three shows we performed last year on SoundCloud. Each track is an untitled improvisation mixed roughly and edited for length. Today you can enjoy track one. If you like it, please comment/share and I’ll keep them coming.
Locus 13.07b
This is another piece from a stockpile of synthesizer tracks that I’ve been sitting on for a while. Locus 13.07b is a study in polyrhythmic arpeggiation produced using the Roland Super Jupiter MKS-80 and the Roland D-50.
BS3X Driven Broken Arpeggio
I recorded this arpeggio recently that I created using the Roland MKS-80 and the Bitstream 3X MIDI controller. Every once in a while it’s nice to leave the computer out of the equation and this was one of those times. As I have outlined before, the arpeggiator on the BS3X has a distinct collection of features that allow for an interesting mix of possibilities. For this example I put it into the keyboard mode, disabling the built in melodies in favor of using a keyboard to choose the notes.
