Today I have been programming and testing some new bass patches on the MKS-80. I’m not quite there yet, but here’s one that’s pretty close to what I’m after.
I agree. It’s a great sound, but it needs to be more … something. Thicker? Perhaps doubling it with a slight detuning or applying a light chorus effect would give it extra body. Or maybe a subharmonic could add extra oomph.
I tried it in the unison mode which makes it louder, but not necessarily bassier. I’ll figure it out soon.
